Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, assembles mechanical parts or units, and positions, aligns, and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using adhesives, hardware, hand tools and power tools.
Refers to blueprints and specifications to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble parts/units.
Assembles parts/units to customer specifications and tolerances. Assignments are moderately complex.
Maintains a safe, clean organized work area
Assures and maintains a consistent, acceptable level of individual quality and productivity performance.
May be required to work in other departments or on other shifts, as assigned by his/her lead.
Assists in the training of new employees.
Education and Experience:
Three (3) years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to set up and operate all equipment in the department
Blueprint reading with mechanical aptitude
Team oriented
Ability to identify problems and offer solutions
Organized
Effective communications
1st Shift- 6 am to 4:30 pm- Monday through Thursday
