SalaryKey Responsibilities:
- Assist with QC testing of Hot Board mechanical properties.
- Strong mechanical, system, and process interaction aptitudes.

- Troubleshooting and analyzing as they relate to plant operating systems.
- Managing housekeeping expectations at all times.
- Conducting daily activities in a manner which promotes plant reliability and productivity.

Professional Experience:
- Written and oral communication skills
- No prior MDF experience required, but forklift operation and manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
- Must be receptive to all training related to the lift truck entry level position or any cross training needed.
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
- Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals.
Education and specialized skills profile:
- High school diploma/GED or College Degree is Preferred
- Strong computer/HMI skills required for operation of automated equipment and systems.
- Ability to read, comprehend and understand P&IDs, operating manuals, vendor drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong work ethic, sense of duty and the ability to mentor/cross-train team members.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- A sense of urgency, a capacity for accurate decisions and the ability to exercise sound judgement in a demanding work environment.
- Availability to work rotating shift schedules, overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, plus respond to occasional off-hours callouts to ensure plant reliability of operations.
- Team player who collaborates well with other company employees and associates; problem solver who is resilient and dependable.
Environment and Behavioral profile:
- Candidate will be exposed to loud noise that may exceed 87 decibels.
- Candidate must be able to complete task under extreme hot climate temperatures internally on the shopfloor, which can exceed 110 degrees F.
- The Assistant Production Operator will be subjected to all environmental elements such as exposure to high/low temperatures, sun/rain, confined spaces etc.
- The Assistant Production Operator must be able to complete daily tasks under little to no supervision, should have the ability to multitask in a challenging environment, making decisions quickly with clear consistent communication
Linguistic Profile:
- The MDF Department embraces the diversity of languages, but most, if not all, communication verbally and written is preferred in English to successfully complete the appropriate scope of work.
Mobility and Physical Requirement profile:
- Work location is Barnwell. This job operates in a manufacturing environment.
- Be expected to stand for a full shift. Employee will be required to perform the following: climbing stairs, walking, squatting, kneeling, or driving lift truck duties at variable frequency.
- There is occasional lifting that may require handling of components which can weigh up to approximately 50 lbs.
- While performance the job duties of this job, the employee regularly operator HMI, communicate by talking on radio, and walk constantly throughout 12 hours shift.
- This is a full-time position, which works 12 hours shift rotation 6:45 to 7:00 days, nights, and frequent weekends.

- MDF, Maintenance, Production Planning, Research & Development and Sales Representative.
- External Vendors, Suppliers, Service Contractors, and other Krono Swiss Plants.
