Job Description
Role: CoStar Group's 18-month Leadership Rotational Program offers MBA graduates the opportunity to embark on a transformative journey. Join a carefully selected team, engage in meaningful work, and participate in dynamic training and diverse networking experiences. This program features an accelerated curriculum designed to attract, nurture, and retain talented leaders within our Research Team, with the aim of making an immediate and lasting impact on CoStar Group.
Responsibilities: As a participant in the Leadership Rotational Program, you will be exposed to a range of responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of CoStar's strategies, platforms, structure, and strategic direction.
- Participate in assignments and training across various functions, including Market and Tenant Research, Finance, and international exposure.
- Benefit from program coaching and formalized executive mentorship.
- Engage in diverse assignments spanning business units and organizational functions.
- Work on high-visibility, high-priority projects addressing immediate business needs, focusing on impactful, real-world challenges.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, monitor project performance, and drive deliverables for critical business initiatives.
- Design and implement data analytics strategies tailored to the real estate industry to enhance business operations and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional teams through collaboration to identify analytics requirements and create suitable data models and structures.
- Identify and implement go-to-leadership strategies, build compelling business cases, establish roadmaps for executive decision-making, and prioritize strategic projects to foster growth and expansion.
Basic Qualifications:
- Work Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of prior business experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities through extracurricular activities, employment, and/or internship experiences.
- Successful completion of a summer 2023 internship following the first year of Business School.
- Educational Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in the second year of Business School, with 3 to 5 years of prior business experience.
- Active involvement in campus, community, work, or other activities/organizations.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities with a willingness to take calculated risks.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail.
- Superior leadership skills coupled with enthusiasm, initiative, and a passion for achieving results.
- Demonstrated motivation, commitment, and a proactive attitude toward seeking opportunities for excellence, both in and outside the classroom.
- Nimble learner with a proven ability to adapt effectively to new situations and navigate ambiguity.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data visualization, and data storytelling.
- Experience in leading teams in a strategic direction.
- Must have permanent work authorization in the U.S.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Interest in commercial real estate.
- Prior direct management experience.
