Material Management Specialist

Materials Management Specialist– Maynard, MA

One of The Select Group’s clients is looking for a Materials Management Specialistcurrently residing near Maynard, MA. This is a 12+ month, ongoing, contract opportunity, and it is an exciting role with a great company!

Must Have Skills:

• 2-4 years of experience in materials management
  • Inventory management
  • Purchasing lifecycle management
  • Supply planning
• Computer savvy, intuitive knowledge to operate modern devices efficiently
• Responsiveness, customer-oriented communication

Plus Skills:

• Oracle operating system

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Responsible for systematic transaction of material through all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Match invoice to details once received from vendor
• Create receipt based on invoice and push PO needs through Oracle system
• Move product through all system transactions to close
• Work directly with cross functional team throughout entire lifecycle to drive product to close lifecycle
• Internal teams are the end users for this group
• On occasion act as backfill for shipping and receiving, ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Up to 5 hours of weekly overtime
