THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Marketplace Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing product listings on various online marketplaces, such as Amazon, Target, and Walmart. The Marketplace Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales through effective listing management, reporting, optimization strategies, and product catalog enrichment. Experience with paid campaign creation and utilization of platforms like Teikametrics is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Product Listing Management:
    • Create and optimize product listings on multiple online marketplaces, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and other relevant details.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather product information and maintain updated listings.
  • Marketplace Oversight:
    • Monitor marketplace trends, competition, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Stay informed about platform policies and updates, ensuring compliance and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate regular reports on key performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, and customer reviews.
    • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to enhance overall performance.
  • Optimization Strategies:
    • Develop and implement optimization strategies for product listings to improve visibility, ranking, and conversion rates.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align marketplace activities with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Paid Campaign Management:
    • Utilize paid optimization features on platforms to create effective advertising campaigns aimed at increasing sales and brand visibility.
    • Monitor campaign performance, adjust budgets, and refine targeting to maximize ROI.
  • Product Catalog Enrichment:
    • Manage the enrichment of the product catalog, ensuring correct key terms and digital assets are utilized.
    • Ensure the product catalog conforms to the needs of each marketplace, managing attributes, and details for each product effectively.
  • Experience with Teikametrics:
    • Familiarity with Teikametrics or similar platforms is a plus.
    • Leverage technology and tools to streamline and enhance marketplace management processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in marketplace management, e-commerce, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing product listings on major online marketplaces, such as Amazon, Target, and Walmart.
  • Experience in creating and optimizing paid campaigns to drive sales and meet performance goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Teikametrics or similar marketplace optimization platforms is highly desirable.
