What you'll do...
We are seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager for the Seller Growth team on Marketplace. As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will play a key role both in shaping our team's seller growth programs, as well as leading cross-functional teams to deliver key results and insights.

The Walmart Marketplace business is part of Walmart's ecommerce portfolio and is one of the fastest growing and most profitable business units. The Walmart Marketplace is in its 5th year and has seen tremendous growth in the past year. This growth combined with the industry ecommerce and customer dynamics has made Walmart Marketplace a highly strategic priority for Walmart for the next 5 years. The Marketplace team culture is entrepreneurial, fast paced, relentless, biased for action and highly resilient. The team is on a crucial mission for Walmart to make the Walmart Marketplace the preferred destination for sellers and customers and to leverage our Walmart scale and capabilities to differentiate across the ecommerce industry.
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive marketplace seller growth via adoption of key initiatives and programs
• Formulate strategies and action plans to optimize seller growth and increase seller adoption of ongoing initiatives
• Utilize analytics tools and languages such as Python, Looker (LookML), and SQL to analyze data and generate meaningful insights
• Act as the main point of contact for international sellers
• Collaborate with China account leads to develop and implement effective seller growth strategies.
• Work closely with the product and program teams to provide insights and recommendations on servicing different seller populations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to seller growth and marketplace dynamics.

You'll make an impact by:

• Enabling the product and program teams to better understand and cater to different seller populations.
• Driving growth in different seller segments and increasing seller adoption of various MP programs
• The department is currently on an exciting and accelerated growth trajectory, and the strategy and operations manager will play a crucial role in achieving departmental goals

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, SQL language, Looker (LookerML) and data structure knowledge
• Strong analytical skills to assess, research, interpret and analyze data
• Fluent in Mandarin, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions
• Flexibility to work across different time zones (ie. EST, PST, IST, and CST)
