Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Marketing Manager, Marketing Strategy & Planning - Walmart Local Marketplace

This role focuses on hyperlocal B2C activations to drive brand awareness of the local shopping platform in key markets. You will drive the strategy and execution of localized marketing to support business growth and new market launches, including media, field activations and merchant partnerships like co-branded marketing and in-store activations with SMB/MM/ENTs. This is a high-impact role that will work within the Marketing team alongside Business Operations to scale our number of markets and reach GMV goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Marketing Planning & Strategy: Partner with GTM and Sales to support market launches and localized campaigns for increased brand awareness, including both digital and traditional tactics. Assists with localizing evergreen and seasonal holiday campaigns.

  • Campaign Development & Execution: Lead creative briefs and media planning, working with core team, cross-functional partners and agencies to help execute creative needs and media plans

  • Brand Management & Content: Provides inputs to brand creation and development strategy to ensure consistent message across all channels, in line with overall brand and objectives. Orchestrate ways to capture useful content for marketing collateral or eCommerce enhancements, such as merchant photoshoots and UGC.

  • Field Marketing: Uncover partnerships in each market and oversee prioritization of activations for market-based tactics, partnering with vendors, internal partners and external merchants.

  • Performance Reporting & Optimization: Monitor campaign performance and report success to business and marketing cross-functional stakeholders. Uncover successful brand and category activations to inform future market launch playbooks.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years marketing experience

  • 2+ years managing hyperlocal activations

  • Prior experience managing market launches and field events

  • Willingness to travel

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years marketplace experience

The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

  • Stock equity incentives
