Position Overview:
The Marketing Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting the marketing department in various marketing programs and projects including managing the invoices throughout the marketing department. You will interact with marketing leadership and finance to ensure accuracy and consistency of our purchasing and invoicing process as well as using Workfront, our work management system, to open and manage tickets from initiation to close.
Responsibilities:
Create and submit Purchase Order (PO’s) on behalf of the marketing team.
Receive, verify, and process invoices and work with accounts payable to pay vendors in a timely fashion.
Research outstanding invoices and vendor payments.
Attend monthly calls with finance and marketing leaders to review expenses.
Will work closely with accounts payable and purchasing to learn systems and processes within those teams.
Open Workfront tickets for a variety of marketing projects
Track Workfront tickets from initiation to close
Coordinate and communicate with marketing managers on projects that are executed in Workfront
Coordinate with the Marketing Project Management organization and Workfront Administrator on Workfront tickets
Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of working and/or administrative experience
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Basic understanding of work/project management tools.
Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of Workfront highly desired or work/project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Jira.
Understanding of marketing is preferred (terms, tactics, marketing programs, etc)
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Works well independently as well as in a team
Solid problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Highly detail oriented
Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $60,000 - 75,000 if located in the United States. In the event this position is hired outside the U.S., pay ranges will vary and will be set in the applicable currency. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. Please speak with the recruiter for more details.
