ell - known Broadcast television and media non-profit has an immediate opportunity for a 3month temp assignment in their social media department.
Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Hourly Rate: $33-$35/hr
Ideal candidate must have a background withcommunications and/or public relations campaigns, knowledge of TV Media and strong writing skills.
Job Responsibilities:
· Partner with production teams to plan messaging and activities that will support efforts to develop and maintain new audiences and engage and retain existing audiences for local or national programming, content, or initiatives. Activities include a range of tactics covering earned, owned, and paid media.
· Create assets and editorial for a variety of uses, including paid and organic social, banner ads, website copy, publicity materials and e-newsletters.
· Share campaign insights with production and station leadership and peers to drive collaboration and improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Writing for media pitches, social, blogs, keeping SEO in mind
- 5+ years of experience in social media , PR campaigns and or marketing
- Data-driven multiplatform campaign planning, execution, and optimization
- Strong analytics, planning and communication skills.
- Audience targeting and segmentation marketing.
- Proven record of measurable results
- Knowledge of television and/or online media business
- Experience managing digital marketing campaigns across social, search, OTT, Mobile and other paid opportunities.
- Organic and Paid Social Media platform expertise.
