Marketing Specialist– MD or remote
POSITION SUMMARY:
CareMetx is in search of a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team.
As a key member, you will expand our marketing capacity through content editing and organization. Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will focus on supporting our content marketing processes as you assist overall marketing goals.
To excel in this position, you'll need strong organizational, time, and project management skills. Strong editing skills are a must. A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and on-the-go skill development, particularly in the realm of content marketing, will be key to your success.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the content calendar to ensure timely planning, development, review, and delivery of content.
- Coordinate and participate in Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews, actively refining interview skills and gaining familiarity with company subject matter.
- Perform copyediting tasks, refining grammar, flow, and syntax while adhering to CareMetx Voice and Tone according to brand guidelines.
- Contribute to small-scale copy development for various marketing initiatives, such as ad campaigns, landing pages, emails, etc.
- Oversee the creation and scheduling of the social media posts using HubSpot.
- Maintain content within CareMetx’s Responsive content library software.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field preferred and one (1) year or less experience.
- Experience with copywriting and editing required.
- Experience with HubSpot is preferred but not required.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven expertise in organizing and overseeing calendars, adept at project management to ensure timely execution.
- Editing and proofreading proficiency, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to refine writing skills and actively engage in continuous improvement.
- Skilled in conducting interviews with subject matter experts, employing active listening and effective question-asking techniques.
- Independent and collaborative work capabilities, with a knack for prioritization, multitasking, and analytical thinking.
- Experience in social media marketing is a plus.
- Proficiency in HubSpot, Canva, and related tools is preferred.
