POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Development Coordinatorposition is predominantly performed in outside sales, through thepre-designated territory and is responsible for generating profitable sales bycreating awareness and forging mutually beneficial relationships by networkingwith local businesses and our communities. The Business Development Coordinatorwill promote the brand and garner sales from catering, event marketing,fundraisers, schools and hotels; seek out local store sales partnershipopportunities to include retail/landlord co-ops, sports, chambers of commerce, religiousinstitutions, non-profits, convention centers, etc.; perform related work asrequired. The Business Development Coordinator position spends 60%-80% of theirworking time away from the company's place of business obtaining orders orcontracts for products or services.
Thisposition will help restaurant 'own the zone' via traditional and in-personmarketing initiatives. Coordinator will have daily assignments that aremeasurable. The goal is for this person to become an extension of therestaurant to strengthen community relationships and to seek out new salesopportunities.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES: Buildcatering sales specifically generating at least 10% increase in sales eachmonth for a given territory Develop andamplify community relationships Conduct foodsampling both on and off-site UnderstandsFresh Brothers legacy, brand, products and services to sell to potentialcustomers Increasesales and check counts through direct and indirect sales and marketingstrategies across businesses and the local community Canvassingin assigned territory Identifieskey businesses for catering sales and strives to become repeat restaurant ofchoice Oversee andengage CRM and select social media platforms to deepen community ties Participatein business expos, mixers and other networking events to cultivate salesrelationships Conductsresearch on local businesses and community events using internet intelligence,field expertise, and company-provided records, lists to convert leads intoprofitable sales Establishesthemselves as primary customer contact in the field during meet and greets andscheduled sampling visits Maintainsprofessional relationships with all store managers. Plan andexecute initiatives to support the marketing plan and corresponding calendar Introduce,communicate, support and reinforce the company brand image amongst new andexisting customers. Disseminateweekly reports.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of catering and business development experience Local store marketing knowledge with restaurant experiencepreferred ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: Must belicensed to operate a vehicle and transport needed marketing materials. Drive fromresidence or restaurant to conduct field objectives and sales calls (approvedmileage reimbursed). Must havethe ability/stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours a week.
Ability tostand/walk for 8 hours per day. Must be ableto lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Will frequentlyhave to reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and/or key in data.
Must be ableto work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors. Must be ableto tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic. Must be ableto tolerate potential allergens: egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish.
SALARY RANGE AND COMPENS: $65,000-$70,000annually
