Marketing Coordinator Job Description Ad:
Growing organic agricultural company seeks cross-trained employee in both marketing and advertising. The ideal Marketing Coordinator candidate is well versed in graphic design, email marketing, print advertising, WordPress both for website and blog, familiarity with HubSpot, writing press-releases and blog posts, website management, social media content creation and ads and Google Analytics/Adwords.
Marketing Coordinator Specific Job Duties:
Advertising:
- Create monthly print ads that are seasonably relevant to display product specials, highlights, etc. Typically 8-10 ads/month to various publications, sometimes more during the busy months
- Maintain spreadsheet of advertisements, sizes, due dates, and contacts
- Create advertisements for conference programs, distributors, and customers as requested following their instructions on content, sizing, design and deadlines
Marketing:
- Creation of daily, cross-platform social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). Includes customer testimonials, product highlights, events, e-commerce boosts, blog posts, conference notifications, product program snippets, and more
- Create Facebook Ads and Shopify Ads to promote blog posts, product sales, and events based on Insights and Facebook Publishing Tools
- Maintain email list and send engaging, relevant content to subscribers highlighting blog posts, product specials, events, travel schedules and more
- Write/edit articles for educational blog. Post at least one article per week tying the article back to product landing pages and e-commerce pages to boost sales using an Inbound Marketing approach
- Create monthly promotional flyers highlighting relevant products and specials – Distribute these flyers to the appropriate networks (salesmen, customers, newsletter, pricelist, email marketing)
- Track edits to product catalog and submit to catalog designer and printer when necessary
- Create new marketing materials as requested – Promotional handouts, new product labels, tabletop flyers, invoice stickers, etc. Work with printer to negotiate best pricing
- Update website (WordPress) and e-commerce site (Shopify) as needed – This includes product listings, pricing, links, photos, labels, and organic certification information
- Incorporate Google Analytics and Google Adwords into future campaign strategies
- Analyze website, social media, and e-commerce data on a monthly and YTD basis to see trends and make decisions about campaigns moving forward
- Website management
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar field (preferred) or 3 years of professional experience
- Strong organizational abilities with an emphasis on multi-tasking and project management
- Ability to work with little oversight to complete all work in a timely fashion
- Some travel and networking may be required
Marketing Coordinator Pay
$35-45/hour (Depending on experience)
*The Marketing Coordinator is a part-time, hybrid position. Initial training will be conducted onsite at The Fertrell Company. Once training is completed, the work will be a hybrid of remote and onsite work. The candidate must live in driving distance of Bainbridge, PA.
