Marketing Coordinator

This is NOT a Digital or Social Media Marketing position, the is a B2B, Tradeshow and Inventory knowledges based position- Heavy Excel an CRM experience needed. 

Job Summary

A Marketing Coordinator assists in the development and execution of the overall marketing plan of a brand or company. This may include website creation, event marketing, direct marketing, or media management. Marketing coordinators provide creative materials during content development or help with data verification. They assist in the execution of marketing strategies by providing target reports to key stake holders.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintains CRM system to ensure data is being added accurately and updated regularly.
• Manages imports and exports of data from CRM. 
• Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
• Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
• Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information; relaying customer services requests.
• Assists the marketing manager with execution of various meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; coordinating mailing lists.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Experience/Training/Education

·        BA / BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field

·        Proficient in excel

·        1-3 years’ direct experience in marketing, communications or public relations

·        Strong project management skills

·        Knowledge of Salesforce and/or CRM systems
