The Marketing Associate is responsible for leading the marketing efforts for the Agency, including, but not limited to, directmail, newsletter, e-appeals, videos and social media. The AdvocacyCenter provides services to Denton, Wise, and Jack counties. Evening and weekend hours will berequired on occasion.
The Marketing Associate responsibilities include:
- Writes and designs donor communications, including direct mail appeals, emails, newsletters and other marketing materials such as event invitations, print and digital ads, annual reports, brochures, sponsorship materials, and more.
- Manages website, email funnels, and social media channels.
- Creates and schedules social media posts and responds to comments and messages.
- Collaborates with fundraising team to track and report on KPIs such as conversion rates.
- Works with digital marketing consultant on paid social and Google advertising initiatives while staying within budget guidelines.
- Manages relationships with vendors and consultants such as advertisers, printers, and more.
- Keeps abreast of new marketing trends and software features to maximize performance.
- Ensures quality of records, lists and reports to accurately report on and track progress.
- Assist Development team with special event fundraisers including preparation, event execution, and post event acknowledgements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary range 47,000 plus depending on years of experience
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
- Daytime and Evening availability.
- Exceptional written and interpersonal communications skills and a high level of organization.
- Threeto five years of relevant experience in marketing, fundraising, nonprofitdevelopment, sales or business development preferred.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
