Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage charitable contributions and sponsorships to include processing requests, sponsorship forms, logo use, event ads, coordinating event attendees, and providing necessary follow-up
- Develop and maintain marketing materials (print and digital) to include industry and practice descriptions, attorney bios, client alerts, and collateral
- Assist with the design and dissemination of invitations, advertisements, brochures, event notifications, electronic newsletters, client alerts, and other marketing collateral (print and digital)
- Manage the firm's social media sites, including monitoring activity, posting content, and reporting
- Maintain and update firm and attorney profiles on internet directories, websites, and social media sites
- Coordinate on- and off-site events (ex. receptions, seminars, conferences) including event setup, budgeting, catering, staffing, and preparation of event collateral and registration pages, nametags, signage, invitation lists, handouts, speaker presentations, and event follow-up
- Assist attorneys and staff with presentation preparation and review
- Assist with the compilation of mailing/contact lists for business development and marketing projects
- Research, update, and maintain media lists
- Assist in the preparation and placement of firm news releases
- Perform prospective client research for industry teams and practice groups as directed
- Provide general departmental support, including drafting of correspondence and reports, attending and organizing meetings, responding to general attorney marketing requests, and other duties as required
- 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Canva
- Pleasant demeanor and professional appearance
- Strong organizational and planning skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
- Experience working independently as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations OR a related field
