The Assistant Banquet Manager assists the Banquet Manager in the planning, organization and execution of all banquet functions. This is a hands-on position to help motivate and develop the banquet staff to exceed our guests' expectations. The Assistant Banquet Manager will assist with hiring and training, scheduling and overseeing the banquet staff.

Physical Demands in the Work Environment

Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

· Two years prior banquet experience including supervisory experience.

· Hospitality degree is preferred.

· Must be able to work the schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

· 1+ yrs. of room set up function.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
