Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant

ADSC-The International Association of Foundation Drilling is seeking a Graphic Designer/Social Media Assistant to assist with various media for the Association, as well as for logos, email communications, social media posts, and other graphics for ADSC events.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Director of Marketing
• Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content, such as graphics, images, and videos, to accompany social media posts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn
• Assists with all ADSC marketing efforts as needed for meetings, events, etc.
• Assists with content creation, design, and scheduling of all ADSC eBlasts in Constant Contact
• Design marketing collateral for events, including logos, signage, and print materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns and promotions that achieve marketing objectives.
• Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices, and propose innovative ideas for expanding our social media presence.
• Provide support for all other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Competencies Required:

• Print design experience
• Social media marketing experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Openness to constructive criticism and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Experience with Adobe Create Suite, Canva, Constant Contact, Dropbox, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
• Time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the marketing team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/related field or a strong portfolio
• 2-4 years of experience as a Graphic Designer/marketing assistant (construction industry experience is a bonus)
• WordPress experience is a plus.
• Capability to demonstrate Graphic Design skills with a skill assessment.
• Proven experience in Graphic Design with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
