Marketing Internship - Graphic Design

MARKETING INTERNSHIP - GRAPHIC DESIGN
This person will assist in executing the company's marketing Graphic Design responsibilities and ensure high-quality standards. In partnership with the Senior Marketing Coordinator and the Graphic Designer, the Marketing Intern will be working on various branding initiatives while interacting with all levels of associates in the company. This person will help support the Kairoi brand and demonstrate a commitment to marketing in a culture of service and excellence.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with management and tracking of all Graphic Design projects for the marketing department.
• Collaborate with Graphic Designer in all phases of the design cycle including researching, planning, conceptualizing, and producing deliverables.
• Provide support for creative initiatives focusing on both corporate and on-site teams.
• Maintain brand consistency and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with marketing and management teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Create informational graphics/marketing-specific training design packets.
• Work both independently and in collaboration with Graphic Designer to create digital and print collateral (i.e. social media posts, presentations, business cards, brochures, signage, promo items, etc.)
• Design elevated templates in Canva for various uses (i.e. event announcements, company updates, etc.)
• Assist in the collection of marketing research including competitive & aspirational brands
• Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography and video
• Act as a team champion and support marketing initiatives in daily administrative tasks to help achieve an unforgettable customer experience

Requirements
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• Proven experience with Graphic Design, with a strong portfolio of work
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro, Canva, Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint or similar
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong understanding of design principles and current design trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong planning and process management ability
• Project management skills coordinating with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
• Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn and apply new software programs
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and efficiently with all level of associates
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and practices
• Intellectually curious and informed on the latest technology and industry trends
• Degree of study in fields related to marketing, communications, and/or Graphic Design
• Fair Housing training provided upon hiring

Salary Description
$18-$21/Hourly
