We are currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing the Marketing Strategy for the corporate brand and all product brands. They will work collaboratively with Sales to plan, create, implement, and oversee product launches and ongoing product communications and promotions, including product labeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains all external communication tools such as corporate and brand websites, HubSpot marketing tools, and social media.
Designs and runs marketing campaigns and nurtures leads to produce leads for sales. - Creates content strategy and oversees the production of content (video, white papers, technical articles, blog posts) for all external communications.
- Manages HubSpot data maintenance processes and trains all users on proper use.
- Acts as a Public Relations officer for the organization, including representing the company at Community Events and applying for awards for recognition as a sustainability leader.
- Manage the Corporate Giving Policy and approve expenditures for corporate giving.
- Plans, budgets, and staffs Tradeshow participation. Develops all visual displays, presentations, promotional materials, participant tracking, and other management details.
- Maintains label designs and updates label marketing language
- Contracts with and manages outside resources and vendors needed for specific marketing efforts
- Initiates, oversees, and approves the production of Marketing and sales collateral (articles, videos, online content, sales sheets) in accordance with Brand Standards and with input and technical assistance from internal marketing staff or outside contractors. Publishes them in digital (through SmartSheet/HubSpot) and print for use.
- Develops website engagement goals and monitors SEO/SEM performance of website and campaigns.
- Builds launch plans for major product launches or rebrands along with product managers.
- Requests and maintains Trademark statuses with outside legal services.
Requirements:
Experience in Marketing at a B2B Company or agency environment that serves B2B clients preferred, with exposure to standard digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, YouTube, LinkedIn, and website editors such as WordPress. Fluency in using digital systems and managing data flow throughout a system, preferably in HubSpot or similar. Experience in managing and complying with Brand Standards and product labeling. Experience in directing marketing campaigns and managing the production of quality photography, tradeshow booths, print and digital materials, and video content. Must be a motivated, self-starter with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to understand technical information related to chemistry and product use and performance and translate it for various buyer types.
