Pay
This position is an Exempt position at pay grade 210.
Attendance
Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities
- Maintains, develops, updates, and analyzes City social media channels in a timely and accurate fashion for the public and media; creates and schedules content
- Assists with website and other City digital communication in coordination with strategic communication goals
- Coordinates, writes, and edits internal and external information/data; develops and generates reports
- Works cooperatively with media, departments, and public in routine and emergency situations
- Analyzes data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved desired objectives
- Maintains web content and develops digital advertising, promotional campaigns, and strategies
- Develops and evaluates long-range market planning and strategies
- Assists with long-range strategic planning
- Conducts market research and needs assessment surveys
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience
- A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered
- A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating
Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
