Our client is a fast-growing consultancy and coaching practice that is hyper-focused on helping B2B SaaS and Tech companies monetize value. Their team of high performers is dedicated to helping growth-stage software companies capture more value and shift pricing from guesswork to framework.
Their consulting programs depend heavily on our Research Coordinator to drive them forward. The Research Coordinator manages research across our portfolio, transforming data into actionable recommendations and communicating complex ideas to clients. Candidates should be skilled in Qualitative and Quantitative research methods and online surveying platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market Research: Conduct and enable others to consult
- Lead/Manage a team of researchers
- Establish reusable client analytics and insights
- Build a process for the team and company to use short and long-term
- SaaS clients in forming customer-centric and competitive-driven strategies.
- Capture insights on enterprise customers through surveys, interviews, and data analysis. Understand their difficulties, preferences, and decision-making processes.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Conduct thorough competitive analysis to assess the strengths, weaknesses, and business strategies of key competitors in our various clients' SaaS industries to inform pricing, packaging, and positioning.
- Develop actionable insights and strategies to address key business objectives by synthesizing relevant data sources (primary, secondary, or first-party) to tell a clear and holistic story.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand key business objectives to translate those into effective research programs for our clients: questionnaire development, survey programming & testing, and input to results analysis.
- Create documentation and templates to train employees on research techniques; evaluate the effectiveness and utilization of research to identify improvements for existing methods and tools.
- Create, deploy, and report on customer satisfaction surveys throughout program delivery milestones.
- Own third-party vendor relationships to coordinate deep-dive research to augment internal findings.
- Oversee research budgets, ensuring cost-effective methods are employed.
- Constantly seek and implement innovative approaches to tackle research challenges, elevating the quality, efficiency, and efficacy of consulting recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years with progressively increasing responsibilities in the area of B2B research (preferably SaaS) and a proactive approach to exploring new research methods and tools to enhance the depth and quality of research projects.
- Passion for understanding user needs, attitudes, and competitive value to translate them into business strategies, particularly in the B2B SaaS, technology, and/or tech-enabled services industries.
- Demonstrate ability to innovate in research methodologies, data collection, surveying, interviewing, and analysis techniques.
- High level of initiative with the ability to work independently, identify issues, think critically, synthesize complex ideas, and recommend and implement solutions.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing and high-demand environments.
- Project Management experience and excellent organizational skills, including the ability to execute several diverse projects simultaneously while managing details and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to tell a clear and compelling story with data, tailoring presentations of both research findings and actionable recommendations to different audiences.
- Collaborative partner and teammate who can build good rapport, communicate effectively, and influence others when needed.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and experience with survey programming tools like Qualtrics.
- Knowledge of and adherence to ethical considerations and guidelines in conducting research.
