Market Partner (District Manager)

Here’s what we need:

The role of Market Partner at Torchy's Tacos is integral to our mission of serving the Best Damn Tacos. This position is responsible for the oversight of multiple restaurants within a specified geographic area (market), focusing on operational excellence, maintaining high culinary standards, delivering financial results, strategic planning, and people development.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operational Excellence: You will oversee and ensure operational excellence across all restaurants in your market, consistently maintaining high standards in guest hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations. This includes implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and leveraging technology to enhance overall restaurant performance.
• People Development: You will lead, mentor, and develop Managing Partners (General Managers), fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and development.  You will identify and nurture high-potential talent, creating a pipeline of future leaders.
• Strategic Oversight: You will develop and implement comprehensive strategies to meet business objectives and operational needs.
• Deliver Financial Results: You will be responsible for delivering financial targets, managing budgets, and driving revenue growth across your restaurants.
• Drive Culinary Excellence: Upholding and advancing our high culinary standards, ensuring each restaurant delivers the quality and creativity Torchy's is known for.
• Champion for Change: Embrace and advocate for change initiatives within the organization, leading the way in adopting new processes, technologies, and approaches. Your role involves inspiring and guiding teams through transitions, ensuring seamless integration of changes while maintaining high morale and engagement levels.
• Community Engagement: Actively build relationships with local communities to build brand awareness and goodwill, representing Torchy's Tacos at community events and functions.

How you’ll do it:

• Leadership: Demonstrating a strong ability to lead by example, inspiring and motivating teams across various locations.
• Strategic Thinking: Utilizing your strategic mindset to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and implement effective business strategies.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively convey goals, expectations, and feedback to your team and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Applying your excellent problem-solving skills to navigate operational challenges and optimize restaurant performance.
• Adaptability: Remaining flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior role such as Managing Partner or General Manager.
• Market Partner/District Manager experience
• Background in Fast Casual or Casual Dining
• Proficiency in Scratch Kitchen operations
• Multi-unit oversight
• Bilingual, a plus

• A relocation bonus may be eligible for the ideal candidate, with a preference to those who reside in the Richmond, VA area.
