The Selling Partner Communities and Satisfaction (SPCS) team builds lasting connections with and among our Amazon Selling Partners. Our organization helps drive their success and ensure that public perception mirrors the reality that Amazon’s stores are a great place for our Selling Partners to build and maintain thriving businesses. The brand creative team is responsible for driving the overall SPCS original content strategy, with the goal of shaping a world-class Communities experience that Amazon sellers are proud to be a part of.
We are looking for a Senior Creative Videographer with global experience creating and producing high-definition videos and experienced in corporate photography (lifestyle, product, and customer imagery) for our Selling Partner audience. The ideal candidate has a diverse portfolio showcasing visual and imagery storytelling across various formats and styles including educational, inspiring, advocacy, celebratory, and technical styles. This individual will create and develop creative videos and photography that can/will be used across multi-platforms for different use-cases (e.g., social media, product launches, webinars, blogs, events, presentations, and more). To excel in this role, you should possess strong video production skills, experienced photography skills, production grade editing, as well as a dedication to ownership and a keen ability to identify and document video and photography process improvements. The individual must demonstrate a robust understanding of creative and content structure, follow SPCS creative processes, guidelines and messaging strategy to bar raise on deliverables and to insist on high quality standards.
This role requires strong video production (shooting and editing of video footage), filming on-set and on-location (where needed), ability to travel for video and photography shoots, handling video and camera equipment (set-up/break-down), transporting, maintaining, ordering and troubleshooting video/camera equipment (as needed), being able to capture the perfect video scenes and photography shots, video storyboards, video strategy, photography storyboards, photography strategy, video and photography editing for final editorial review, possess interpersonal skills, time management with deliverables, and attention to detail in video/photography expertise. You must have visual creative services experience in both working as a professional videographer and photographer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, working with content writers, content producers, and cross-functional teams on story assignments. You will handle video and photography request for our Big Rocks, product groups and our SIM creative request.
The Senior Creative Videographer will own the video and photography production assignments for SPCS creative and content group. The candidate will partner with product teams, content, research and other key stakeholders to ensure a unified video and photography experience and consistency in our visual framework. This person will influence video and photography decisions, partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholder groups, and implement a world-class video and photography process.
Key job responsibilities
  • Developing High-Definition Video production content for our SPCS teams and SIMs received from SPS teams
  • Creating High-Quality Photography (Lifestyle, Product, and Customer Images) for SPCS teams and SIMs received from SPS teams
  • Production-grade editing of all SPCS video and photography work and partnering with editors on the final visual products (this includes video production edits and photography edits) for creative work SPCS produces for teams
  • Ordering, Transporting, Maintaining, Logging and Troubleshooting all Video and Photography equipment
  • Reviewing all SPCS video and photography assets to ensure guidelines and high standards are met and logging video and photography assets into our new DAM system
  • Managing/owning all updates for the SPCS Video Production and Photography calendar
  • Collaborating with writers, content producers, video editors to better understand content assignments and key drivers that inform content and creative decisions from our Selling Partners perspective and leveraging findings to ensure the highest quality in our editorial review process
  • Own delivering on complex video and photography projects on tight deadlines.
  • Evangelize video and photography standards that reflect the voice of SPCS and our Selling Partners.
  • Follow Amazon and SPCS video production and photography guidelines
  • Meet assigned video production and photography goals provided by leadership
About the team
The SPCS content team was created in November of 2021. We are a growing group looking to change the way Amazon connects, educates, informs and celebrates Selling Partners.

  • 7+ years of videography and photography experience working with global brands and/or ad agencies
  • Knowledge of working with content strategy and creative guidelines
  • Proven ability to influence and obtain buy-in for video and photography ideas
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
