This position will be based in Atlanta, GA and requires regular travel within your assigned territory.  Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.

As a valued member of our team, you'll spend a significant portion of your time (80%) collaborating with distributor personnel, including Representatives, District Managers, and Account Managers, to implement monthly programs, close sales gaps, and secure points of distribution. Your ability to make thoughtful decisions and strategically allocate your time will be crucial in maximizing sales and growing Gallo brands. We're looking for someone who can train and coach distributor sales representatives and district managers, gather and analyze market intelligence, and assist in ensuring retail prices align with state brand guidance. Your innovative and entrepreneurial mindset will drive you to adopt changes and act in future-focused ways, engaging accounts and maximizing e-Retail opportunities in the marketplace. Your role will also involve coordinating activities with other winery support areas within the market, leveraging technology to monitor performance, support the commercialization of digital marketing programs, and act as a Gallo Ambassador to advocate for our brands within the community. What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of CPG sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Candidates for this position must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to obtain liquor license as required by state/locality.
  • Required to travel by air and car in order to execute job functions.
  • Required to see, taste, and smell wine and perform wine tastings as part of job functions.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.
  • Required to travel by air and automobile up to 25% during the course of business.
  • Experience demonstrating strong leadership selling, time management, public speaking skills.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What You Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience to include a prior rotation as a Spirits Development Specialist, Spirits Development Specialist Sr, Business Intelligence Analyst Sr, Market Development Manager, Market Development Manager Sr, or Account Manager 1; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of external alcohol sales experience to include retail experience.
  • Experience selling or marketing Gallo brands.

Compensation:

  • Hiring salary range posted: $84,645 - $127,015 / year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
