Senior Product Development Manager

CE Global Marketing is a USA based Product Development and Sales team for direct factories to National Retailers. We are looking for people that are passionate about design, Product Development, and bringing it all together through our strong supply chain & manufacturing expertise. We are responsible for bringing fun and innovative product to our customers.

Reporting to Director of Product Development, this Sr. Product Development Manager will create a variety of collection concepts and products supporting the development process and execution of items within our seasonal timelines. A self-starter, this person will have proven ability to work independently and self-manage workload around multiple and competing project timelines. This role works closely with cross functional team members by supporting the design process and execution of program line development including but not limited to, trend research, conceptual design and technical design for mass production. This person will primarily be responsible for collaborating with the graphic designer and factory. This individual must efficiently and proactively work on projects that and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Creates concepts from start to finish working with our graphic designers and factory merchandisers to ensure our product is a GOOD VALUE and supplies innovation
• Identifies new business or category growth potentials to drive profitable growth.
• Responsible for all areas of Product Management Lifestyle including: concept initiation, product design, development, product packaging.
• Performs competitive and market research, understands existing and target markets, like-products and the competition for all current and future product lines.
• Communicates relevant project information to cross functional teams.
• Seeks ongoing feedback to improve work, taking the time and effort to make it right the first time, and provides constructive feedback to others.
• Takes full ownership of work and is responsible for each detail to create impactful product designs.
• Able to create organized and concise presentations for our customers.
• Stay on the cutting edge of design and product innovation within our industry and consumer products.
• Creates descriptions, content and packaging from concept to finish.

Essential Skills & Abilities

• Experience in mass Dollar chain retailers and/or value driven price points is a bonus.
• Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to function independently within gray areas or with little direction, depending on customer direction.
• Objective when it comes to client feedback and critiques; highly skilled at acting upon constructive criticism efficiently and effectively.
• Clear and effective detailed communication to improve teamwork.
• Organized for productivity and efficiency, yet flexes to anticipate and meet future needs of customers and teams.
• Results driven self-starter making thoughtful, effective, and timely decisions after analyzing situations.
• Stays curious and is a steward for development. Demonstrates a passion for learning history of category to be able to bring forward innovation within the category.
• Clear understanding and commitment to the highest level of quality and output of work.
• Consistent, creative problem-solving abilities using a solutions-oriented mindset, maintaining a positive and constructive outlook.
• Travel to customers, Asia, and trade shows: estimated 15% travel(as needed)
• Knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel is a MUST.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
