We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to fabricate and assemble control panels and mechanical assemblies to company standards, maintain shop environment, and provide building maintenance. Manufacturing Technicians also assist with field installations.
You will:
- Fabricate and assemble control panels and mechanical assemblies under the direction of the lead technician, engineer, or manager
- Organize work in an efficient method, complete assigned tasks, and maintain a neat work area.
- Maintain correct records of time to be charged to jobs
- Adhere to process and quality controls as well as follow all safety regulations
- Have a basic understanding of NEC code and UL508A
- Take ownership for projects and their completion
You Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good Math Skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and assembly details
- Ability to perform layout / assembly and wiring duties on various projects as well as shipping and receiving
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and their proper use
You May:
- Understand the concept of process manufacturing
- Have the ability to work independently
- Be self motivated with good attention to detail
- Have basic computer skills
- Willing to be trained!
