The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Manufacturing Manager(Level K) to join our dynamic team in Saint Charles, MO.
This is an opportunity to manage multiple production lines within Direct Attack. You will be exposed to mature, high volume production and also production programs still going through development. You will lead a team and use the Boeing Production System to drive continuous improvement, eliminate waste, and achieve targets on specific key performance indicators. You will maintain positive relationships with other teams and drive a deep understanding of the Boeing Production System principles and standards, production health, and problem solving.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
- Lead process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Shift:
This position is for 1st shift, but may change with business needs.
Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- Highschool diploma or higher
- 3+ years experience leading projects and/or teams
- 3+ years experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate competency level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
- 3+ years experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay range: $96,900 - $131,100
