KEY RESPONSABILITES:
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will be supporting the engineering team and production supervisors. The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will developing work instructions, processes and documentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Studies and records time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and establish a standard production rate in performance of maintenance, production and other worker operations.
- Developing and maintaining accurate standards for procedures and/or products.
- Implement lean methods to eliminate waste, and improve value stream of processes
- Lead and support continuous improvement activities, conduct mapping the process, and evaluate value stream of process activities.
- Responsible for driving the continuous improvement of products and processes using appropriate Lean and problem solving techniques.
- Assists Manufacturing Engineers.
- Writes assembly instructions for production lines

Requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Junior or senior level student pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- Experience using MS Office products and CAD software.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
