Maintenance Engineer- Kapco Grafton, WI

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead maintenance project management efforts.
- Coordinate, and act as a liaison, with other department engineers and management to execute maintenance project work from start to finish within agreed upon timelines.
- Source, and obtain quotes for all project needs.
- Lead trouble shooting within maintenance projects, involving all relevant stakeholders in final outcomes.
- Identify areas of improvement within maintenance scope, develop a plan for needed change, and carry project through to completion. Assists with maintenance capital expenditures plans to fit in the greater organization's capex plan.
- Assists with maintenance business cases for larger projects that impact the business.
- Analyzes and presents options for the most cost-effective solutions to optimize equipment uptime and maintenance.
- Encourage and mentor subordinates on any delegated tasks, checking for accurate completion.
- Follow up on completed project success with all parties involved, developing, and implementing modifications if necessary.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with team priority assignments, evaluations, and training.
- Assists maintenance technicians with daily troubleshooting.
- Assists with the creation, sustainment, and improvement of the manufacturing maintenance process.
- Creates and sustains documentation to execute the maintenance processes (work and setup instructions).
- Participates in continuous improvement projects for maintenance processes through structured problem solving.
- Other duties as assigned.
