Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for improving the everyday performance of process and
packaging operational reliability as measured by overall equipment
effectiveness, through analysis of maintenance planning effectiveness,
application of problem solving techniques, machine operational analysis,
technical training, and application of predictive maintenance principles. - Works with process engineering, training, and operations to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
- Develops technical training plans for Operator Based Maintenance including skills matrix and competency assessments.
- Participates in the development of design andinstallation specifications along with commissioning plans to insure maintainability and reliability of the equipment.
- Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers.
- Participates in the final check-out of new installations. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.

- Fault tree analysis & Cause Mapping
- Root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause failure analysis (RCFA), (RCM) & Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Reliability Centered Maintenance
- Statistical process control
- Reliability modeling and prediction(Weibull Alalysis)
- Provides technical support to production, maintenance management and technical personnel
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or related field
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- 3-10 years previous Maintenance Reliability Engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proven ability to work with process improvement, problem resolution, project management and employee development
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical andelectrical systems
- Excellent mathematical, verbal and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and communicate with all levels of the production organization
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to speak to a diverse audience spanning from staff to executive levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified CMRP or CMRT
- 3-5 years of experience in CPG or FDA-regulated manufacturing industry
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training and experience
- Proficiency in SQL, or a background in the foundations of database architecture
- Proficiency using Auto-Cad
