Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Manual machines to perform precision machining operations
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, such as lathes, mills, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), to machine parts to specified tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges, to ensure conformance to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machinist
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
