**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Manual Machinist to join our team immediately. As a Manual Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing and repairing hydraulic machine parts using a variety of manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Plan and execute the sequence of operations required for machining parts to precise dimensions with close tolerances, fit, and finishes.

- Set up and operate manual machine tools to produce required parts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

- Utilize precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to take accurate measurements.

- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to create shop drawings and sketches documenting critical dimensions of completed machine parts.

- Machine cut and fit various thread types, both internal and external, on a wide range of diameters and materials.

- Maintain machine tools for proper operation and efficiency, performing scheduled maintenance and informing the maintenance department of required repairs.

**Requirements:**

- Proficiency in manual machining operations, with previous experience required.

- Possession of own machinist hand tools and comfort using overhead cranes and lifting devices.

- Ability to interpret verbal instructions to program, set up, and operate various machine tools.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work closely with a team to solve complex problems.

- Basic hydraulic knowledge is a plus but not required.

- High School diploma or equivalent education required; Journeyman Machinist or Tool & Die Papers are a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
