Manhattan TMS Architect The Manhattan TMS Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing transportation management solutions utilizing Manhattan TMS platform. This role involves understanding business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and leading the implementation process. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and other IT professionals to ensure the successful deployment and integration of the TMS solution. Key Responsibilities:Design end-to-end transportation management solutions based on business requirements, leveraging the capabilities of Manhattan TMS platform.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Customize and configure Manhattan TMS to meet specific business needs, including workflow configurations, rule sets, and user interfaces.
Oversee the integration of Manhattan TMS with other enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, and CRM.
Develop strategies for data migration, data cleansing, and data governance within the TMS environment.
Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability enhancements within the TMS solution.
Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and ensure the quality of the TMS implementation.
Create technical documentation including design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.
Provide training and support to end-users and administrators of the Manhattan TMS platform.
Collaborate with software vendors to understand product roadmaps, resolve technical issues, and stay informed about updates and enhancements. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Extensive experience (X years) working with Manhattan TMS platform in a technical capacity.
Strong understanding of transportation management processes and logistics operations.
Proficiency in software development languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and integration technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, EDI).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading TMS implementation projects.
Certification in Manhattan TMS or relevant technologies is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
