About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Junior Architect Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural design, with a specific focus on residential multi-family projects. This role requires a deep understanding of construction detail drawings and a thorough knowledge of the New York City Building Code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop architectural designs for residential multi-family projects.
• Produce detailed construction drawings and specifications that align with project goals and compliance regulations.
• Interpret and apply NYC Building Code in the design and construction phases.
• Assist in the coordination and integration of engineering systems into the overall design.
• Conduct site visits and field reviews to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss design concepts and progress.
• Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create visual representations of projects.
• Support senior architects in various project phases, including conceptual design, schematic design, and design development.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and construction techniques relevant to residential architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in residential multi-family projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other architectural design tools.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and NYC Building Code.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant experience in residential multi-family design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 - $68,750.16 per year
