Manager Sterile Svcs - Northwest Health Porter

The Sterile Processing Manager has oversight for all assigned duties performing decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the hospital. The main distribution area is the Surgery department.Sterile processing Manager must adhere to strict infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.
Education:

• A Graduate of an accredited High School or HSE program (required).

• Sterile Processing certification, Certified Instrument specialist, and Certified Health Care leader certification required
• BLS required within orientation period
• 5 years of Sterile processing experience preferred
