About this unit:
- 32 bed unit
- The ICU is a challenging, but rewarding unit to work on - nurses in this unit are expected to have a high level knowledge of bodily systems and mechanics, as well as the ability to shift priorities at a moment's notice.
- This unit accepts general surgery patients, as well as open-heart patients.
Porter provides 24-hour monitoring and acute care for critically ill patients in our intensive care unit (ICU). Patients have access to specialists in a range of disciplines who utilize advanced equipment and technology to provide quality care.

Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.
Licensure & Certification:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
- BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
- ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position
