McGee Air Services is looking for an experienced Manager, Resource Planning & Time Administration to Lead our Corporate Resource Planning Team based at our World Headquarters in Renton, WA.

The pay band for this role is $78,258 - $117,387 annually.

The Hiring Target for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

The Manager, Resource Planning sets the long-term staffing plan and oversees the productivity performance of McGee system wide. This role establishes goals and direction to execute ground-related planning, staffing and productivity for future growth and stability of the operations. They will coach and guide a group of peer leaders and direct reports. This person will be accountable through their team to constantly deliver on customer key performance indicators (KPIs). While building a collaborative team, who creates a culture of mutual respect and teamwork, while ensuring safety and service are fundamental operational priority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the systemwide Resource Planning/Time Administration functions. Executes the development and implementation of both the long/short term staffing plans for all McGee frontline functions.
  • Drives efficient and accurate use of people resources including partnering with station leaders and our customers in Resource Planning processes
  • Provides systemwide guidelines, procedures and oversight of callouts, overtime awarding and attendance administration.
  • Leads the management and administration of consistent schedule bidding for all McGee stations.
  • Drives each stations' staffing analysis and planning capability; remaining connected to our stations leaders to anticipate upcoming and future staffing needs.
  • Responsible for accurately aligning budget and productivity goals with Resource Planning and staffing levels.
  • Works tirelessly to ensure a growth minded and dynamic productivity focus between Finance, HR, operational leadership, and Training.
  • Provides direction and oversight to the Central Callout team to ensure consistency of service delivery, process alignment, fairness, and transparency.
  • Responsible for conducting regular analysis to ensure training/hiring capacity is sufficient to support McGee's growth plans. Expected to present process and system improvement recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensures analytical rigor and plays an active part in decisions impacting station staffing and productivity.
  • Develops auditing tools and systems to ensure we are holding everyone accountable to remain fair, consistent, and equitable. Facilitates quarterly status reports using historical data and trends to help inform the business. Provide high-level updates and trends to ensure we remain informed and able to respond to upcoming needs/projected trends.
  • Promotes a high-performance culture by developing people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback, focusing on fostering strategic and systems thinking, development of talent, and succession planning across teams and functions.
  • Influences company culture through action, presence, and reinforcement of behaviors.
  • Establish and maintain a culture that encourages open communication, where all team members feel valued, connected, and engaged in the success of the operation.
  • Consult with station leadership to address resource, staff planning and Time Administration issues, and quickly resolves to maintain strong and effective working relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five (5) years of business management or planning experience and two (2) years of people leadership
  • Proven ability to leverage business acumen, analytic and critical thinking capability to position the organization as a critical business partner.
  • Sound, strategic thinker with a track record of demonstrating good judgment, strong business acumen, and executing plans with a sense of urgency and a mind for safety.
  • High energy, positive along with strong communication (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create collaborative relationships that drive outcomes in the best interest of the company, with others in the organization, and with key external business partners.
  • Skilled at making and defending tough decisions, while demonstrating care and concern for the opinions of others, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence change and initiate actions that drive results.
  • An active and effective leader who communicates well with her/his team to motivate and develop staff with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Airport Staff Planning / Resource Planning
  • Experience with a unionized workforce.

**This role is an on-site role and requires candidates to either reside or be willing to reside in the Greater Seattle Area.

SALARY DETAILS: The pay range and total target compensation package is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Pay will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to location, relevant experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity to other McGee employees.
