We're looking for an amazing Manager, Maritime Systems Administration and Reporting to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle or Miami offices. You'll be responsible for the development, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and management of on-call support of maritime application systems. The position will manage and support Maritime Systems and administration, including dealing with user access requests, bug resolution, enhancement tracking and user acceptance testing. This role oversees the weekly follow up of incident reporting for marine, safety, security, environmental, technical incidents and near misses.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day functions of Maritime Systems such as the event reporting system, electronic logbook, chemical management, inspection application, modification proposal system, etc. This includes but is not limited to interacting with IT to provide fleet support, troubleshooting, and follow up on trouble tickets and resolving user issues.
- Review and manage reporting for cause analysis, corrective, and preventative actions for all Marine, Safety, Security, Environmental, Technical incidents, and near misses.
- Drive software and process enhancements / standardization and work with the responsible person ashore for review and comment.
- Manage Maritime Systems governance process, create and distribute presentation materials and execute action items.
- Update system(s) user manual(s) and provide shipboard training as necessary.
- Conduct periodic user access reviews & routine data validation as needed.
- Manage special projects & system deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Project Management Professional Certification preferred. Maritime Industry experience, experience in cruise ship operations a plus.
- Operational experience in systems management and development
- 3+ years in shipboard operations
- Sailing experience as a Deck Officer or Engineer on a cruise ship preferred.
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proficient with business productivity applications: MS Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and MS Project.
- Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient with AI applications.
- Working Knowledge of Corporate and Company Procedures.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple time constrained projects
- Ability to interact with external entities and individuals at all levels of the organization

- Base Salary Range: $79,600.00 to $107,500.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
