- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and KPIs for the QA team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Design and enforce QA processes, standards, and methodologies across projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle.
- Create test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for new features and product releases.
- Oversee the execution of test plans and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain QA automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Drive initiatives to increase test automation and decrease manual testing efforts where applicable.
- Establish key quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to track QA performance and product quality.
- Generate and present regular reports on QA activities, defect trends, and improvement initiatives to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and best practices adoption within the QA function.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to refine QA strategies and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to quality assurance.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in QA and implement relevant changes as needed.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience managing or mentoring QA Engineers.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycles, and testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with QA automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to strategize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
