Job Summary 

Trustwell is in search of a QA Engineerwith a minimum of three years of solid QA experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in an all aspects of QA best practices. You should be able to plan, implement, and execute all aspects of quality and testing. The role requires hands-on QA expertise where you will use those skills to help us develop and evolve our QA discipline. 

 

Reporting directly to the Lead QA Engineer, the position is based out of our Headquarters found in Salem, Oregon with a choice to work remotely. 

  

Duties/Responsibilities 

  • Be a part of an agile team that makes and keeps regular commitments 
  • Build and maintain test suite in JIRA and XRay 
  • Work closely with product owners in an agile environment 
  • Participate in all cycles of software design and testing 
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems 
  • Investigate customer problems referred to Product Engineering by the technical support team 
  • Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team 
  • Build different Test Plans, Test Cases, and Acceptance tests 
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and test automation 
  • Ability to manually test and provide bug reports when bugs are found 

  

Required Skills/Abilities 

  • At least three years in software quality assurance with proven working experience 
  • At least three years of experience writing tests and test plans  
  • Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies designing, implementing, and automating processes 
  • Deep understanding of the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance and Volume, User Acceptance) 
  • Independent learning skills 
  • Excellent communication skills 

  

Education and Experience 

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation 
  • Experience writing tests (end-to-end, integration and unit)
