Position Overview:
The Manager of Product Operations serves as the key node between Harri’s Product and customer-facing teams. It supports the Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Training, and Operations functions to ensure successful and consistent delivery of Product initiatives. You will report to the VP of Strategic Operations and program manage or support multiple strategic cross-functional initiatives that include but are not limited to quarterly product planning, monthly product releases, team training, product compliance, go-to-market activities, and client communication.
You will serve as a central point of contact for numerous internal and external communications related to Harri’s product strategy while also playing a key role in establishing and strengthening Harri’s product delivery processes. To succeed in this role, you must possess operational discipline, be a creative and results-driven thinker, have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and be an excellent problem solver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the quarterly planning process in partnership with leadership from Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations
- Ensure all roadmap documents are compiled, aggregated, prioritized and completed in a timely fashion, and maintained on a regular basis
- Provide visibility into the product pipeline, including prioritization and status, to the necessary stakeholders
- Build and maintain the product release process for all internal stakeholders
- Project manage the introduction and GTM strategy of brand new products and product modules with organizational stakeholders
- Assist in the documentation of Product development methodology, policies, and governance framework
- Support Program Management Office on cross-organizational business projects when needed
- Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable organizational alignment and effectiveness
- Manage the implementation of customer requests that come through the sales cycle
- Work with external customers and internal customer facing teams to drive new product initiatives based off of collected feedback
- Support Root Cause Analysis process, including creation of RCAs
- Collaborate with leadership teams to determine and prioritize business & product initiatives
- 3+ years of program management experience consisting of planning and delivery with a Software-as-a-Service model
- 3+ years experience in various product/engineering-adjacent functions, preferably in early-stage, fast-paced start-ups
- Deep knowledge of the product development lifecycle including requirements gathering, sprint planning, product adoption and ongoing support
- Proven track record of building and leading cross-functional operational processes with departmental leaders
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to identify inefficient processes and find simple solutions
- Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with executive leadership is a plus
- Strong business acumen: understanding the success of a business through multiple perspectives (product, operations, sales, marketing)
- Ability to measure and analyze project and operational performance to drive improved delivery performance
- Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles as organizational demands deem necessary
