Whatyou get to do:
The Traffic Manager will be responsible for the management and maintenance operations for digital, broadcast commercial, and OOH materials. The traffic manager will supervise the timeline and distribution of commercial materials in a timely manner to networks, local stations, and agencies. The traffic manager will also be tasked with evaluating traffic workflows and procedure for all agency clients and change processes to implement industry best practices where necessary.
- Analyze and review weekly media budget documents to ensure there are funds available for requested creative assets in relations with their set flight date(s).
- Update parks with their quarterly media spends budget for proactive creative planning.
- Maintain Media Trafficking Tag Charts and Creative Offer Tracker, ensuring clarity on media assets ready for trafficking and assisting in clarifying required versioning with creative teams.
- Help maintain Asset Library keeping it organized and up to date.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Creative Agencies/Internal Teams and Media Agency regarding upcoming.
- Liaise with media agencies and agency account teams regarding change in flights dates, station lists, materials needed, and format requirements.
- Ensure assets, updates, and messaging are delivered on time.
- Review current and future timelines and job statuses with the heads of department, and if necessary, the individuals working on the jobs to help drive alignment and solutions.
- Meet with internal clients to learn more about project and media flight details and communicate any issues.
- Maintain project information on behalf of various parties and ensure changes are flagged and addressed, with all parties still aligned to timeline.
- Work with freelancers and contractors and ensure they have the resources needed for their jobs.
- Meet with counterparts within Corporate and Park marketing teams to learn about the status of existing projects, and details about new projects coming into the agency.
- Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into the agency.
- Work with creative/production departments on timelines, delivery and invoicing of potential additional costs due to rush fees, or unexpected deadlines.
- Work with other members of the team as needed to achieve department goals, including assisting with processing purchase orders, organizing processes and more.

To succeed as a Traffic Manager, you need the ability to multitask, organize and collaborate. Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential. The Traffic Manager's duties include working with business teams to collaborate on marketing plans that stretch across all media outlets. As a result, they must rank high in interpersonal and communication skills. They are patient and are excellent at managing stress and pressure. The ideal candidate needs to be as organized as possible to schedule, monitor and adjust deadlines and resources as needed. This position also requires significant collaboration. Strong knowledge in Excel is also important as a lot of the budget documents as well as the media requests and deliveries processes reside in these document types.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business.
- 3+ Years of experience, agency experience preferred.
- Understanding of Digital and Broadcast medias.
- Proficiency with Excel and project management software is also important.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with little or no supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with budgets and schedules.
- The flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment and accept cross-functional responsibilities as needed.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented attitude and solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well against deadlines.
