Job Description
Position Purpose
Logistics Digital Transformation Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing large scale logistics strategies across a multi-year transformation roadmap. Candidate will leverage technologies including but not limited to Blue Yonder, Business Intelligence Tools, Robotics Process Automation, Machine Learning, etc - in streamlining manual processes, and significantly improving digitally enabled execution process by collaborating with cross functional teams across the organization to drive game-changing opportunities within the supply chain.
Candidate will play a key role in streamlining and standardizing end-to-end logistics process. Candidate will play an instrumental role in delivering cost out initiatives over the next 5 years. Manager will be responsible for the development, automation, modifications and deployment of supply chain planning applications and corresponding business intelligence tools across US supply chain. Specifically, this person will evaluate, recommend, develop, and implement applications and business intelligence tools suitable for logistics automation processes that improve all aspects of cost and service performance. These systems will include enterprise and regional systems such as Blue Yonder, Tracker, COLT, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau. Critical measures will be to deliver tangible Supply Chain efficiencies for US to include ongoing assessments and deployment of Trailer Tracking systems and process improvements in CHEP US. Through cross functional collaboration this person will deliver substantial supply chain savings through logistics systems and process improvement resulting in fewer touches from order to fulfilment, improved planning compliance, lower wasteful activity, enhanced visibility, and improved user experience. Work closely with Planning, Logistics Execution, Transportation, Planning, Order Management, Operations and 3rd party vendors to create/standardize functional training, maintain/create standard operating processes, and implement best practices that drive efficiencies that maximize our asset utilization.
Major Accountabilities

• Lead a team of analysts to maintain set trailer pools and drive asset efficiency
• Successful delivery of trailer to load ratio metrics and minimize dwell
• Responsible for designing a multi-year, end-to-end Digital Transformation roadmap with clear milestones and savings delivery
• Lead cross-functional teams, project management efforts, high impact initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in reviewing current state technology and process, make recommendations on future state, and lead transformation projects
• Responsible for continuous improvement of Logistics Digital process and key initiatives
• Develop and implement digital metrics - that will show demonstrated improvements in transportation cost per unit, efficiency and reduction in manual touches
• Extracting, transforming and mapping "big data" from multiple sources into Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, QlikView applications from JDA, SAP, BW, Siebel,SQL Server, Access, Excel and other sources
• Performs advanced analytical development on large structured and unstructured data sets; measures, interprets and predicts trends and patterns to inform key decisions
• Lead Design, Development, and Integration of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Process Automation, and/or Prescriptive and Predictive Analytics Tools within the BI Platform
• Leverage Technology to Automate, Reduce Touches, and Improve Efficiencies
• Support the development of the broader logistics systems and innovation strategy
• Evaluate, recommend, and develop appropriate automation software and systems for business adoption
• Understand, document, and model logistics strategies and decision making processes in technical systems
• Recommend SLAs related to current and new logistics systems and process execution
• Drive annual cost reductions and sourcing consistency through improved and measurable process enhancements and explore and recommend use cases that leverages machine learning and automation

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology or equivalent discipline
Experience
Five years of experience in supply chain, data analytics, programming, analytics, business intelligence, or equivalent
Three to five years product management or project management experience
