What we need:
Mohawk is looking for a Manager of Logistics Business Solutions to support our supply chain operations through more innovation. This role will drive efficiencies through the development of analytic practices, opportunity assessments, data management and predictive analytics. As the Manager of Business Logistics Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency through the implementation of cutting-edge analytic practices, comprehensive opportunity assessments, meticulous data management, and predictive analytics.
The Manager of Logistics Business Solutions will also manage our routing department and oversee routing operations for 34 satellite locations, in addition to handling all territory planning for the entire country. This individual will collaborate with regional operations and transportation management to provide guidance on financial and statistical data and analytics, ensuring seamless coordination across all aspects of our logistics operations.
What you'll do:
- Provide relevant analysis to Logistics leadership for guidance on future strategy of last mile delivery operations
- Lead analysis of industry and competitive data, route patterns, historical volume, service frequencies, profitability metrics at global and local levels, profit leaks and current and potential network flows
- Develop, measure, track and report key performance indicators that establish benchmarks and define success
- Support Logistics network through development of business plans and periodic reporting to increase division profitability. Provide analysis on a variety of financial issues and business opportunities, including determination of appropriate analytical methodologies, developing and presenting alternatives solutions, summarizing results and making recommendations to assist in managerial decision-making
- Identify, develop and evaluate new business/program opportunities
- Participate in division's annual budget process and related forecasting through evaluation of current and future initiatives to drive financial performance
What you have:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, finance or related discipline
- 7+ years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth
- Experience in advanced analytics, budgeting, modeling and financial and business performance
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience leading, organizing, planning and executing projects of various size and complexity from conception through implementation

- Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers, including senior management and executive leaders
- Consulting and persuading an audience to accept new ideas based on strategic analysis, leading them to "think outside the box" and generate alternative solutions
- Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
- Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions
- Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism

- You'll manage a team of 5, with the possibility of up to 10, others in this role
