Role: Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Location: Remote US-Based

Essential Functions:

  • The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will partner with the CFO to lead CG Oncology’s financial strategy and drive operational effectiveness in a high-growth environment.
  • This role will play a pivotal role in adding value and insight to the CG Oncology team by providing rigorous financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic decision support.
  • The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be responsible for overseeing the FP&A function and staff while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key business leaders, developing financial models, and enhancing operational effectiveness through strategic planning and process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field required
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and analysis roles for both private and public companies.
  • Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis, with proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, delegate responsibilities, and drive performance excellence.
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience working in the life science industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (including accruals, gross-to-net, capitalization vs expense).
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial management/reporting software.
  • Strong track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, and experience implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure financial reporting integrity
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or MBA.
  • CPA
  • Experience in biotech with knowledge of drug discovery and clinical development through BLA and commercialization.

Desired Qualifications:

The U.S. target annual salary range for this remote, full-time, position is currently set at $285,000 - $325,000. The actual base salary offered for this role will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, market factors, experience and considering internal equity. In addition, to the base salary, CG Oncology offers a very attractive set of Total Rewards (including bonus and equity) and Well-Being Benefits provided as part of the overall compensation package for this role.
