JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for managing a proactive Employee Relations function consistent with our visions and values and in alignment with our people strategy. Provide advice, counsel, and guidance to people managers at all levels of the organization. Conduct research and investigations of complaints, charges, and lawsuits. Manage Employee Relations processes to ensure a proactive, fair and consistent approach. Provide training to management on employment law and workplace trends. Assists Director with establishing a policy framework and support of inclusion initiatives.
This position will support Piedmont Newnan and Piedmont Columbus and is expected to split time between the two locations.
Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of professional work experience in employment law or Human Resources, involving
management of employee grievances.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
PHR certification is preferred. Solid knowledge of employee-related labor laws, rules and regulations,
including application of employment laws to human resource practices. Excellent written and oral
communication skills. Organizational and problem-solving ability, with strong logical reasoning and ability
to multi-task and prioritize projects. Excellent interpersonal skills, with customer service approach and
ability to guide and influence people in context of fast-paced and challenging work environment.
