SalaryWe are looking for a talented and highly motivated engineering Field Technician to visit our customers job sites to review new roofing, siding and window installations. This position provides a lot of freedom and autonomy for the right candidate. There are bonus opportunities for successful work completion.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of new shingle roofing, siding and window installations.
- Travel to job sites throughout Ohio, Southern Michigan, and Indiana. Travel will be required during the work week, with most trips being day trips.
- Prepare reports outlining workmanship defects. Must be able to produce clean, clear reports in a timely manner utilizing company reporting software.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a engineering Field Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt shingle roofing, various siding and window systems.
- Comfortable going on roofs and ladders. Comfortable using roof tie off safety systems.
- Comfortable transporting and working with ladders.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to identify workmanship issues, carry yourself well on construction sites, sound credible in your communication.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.84 - $28.09 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
