JOB SUMMARY
The Education and Events Manager helps to manage the operations for R+Co EDU, including business education, large scale events, and digital education.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plan, budget and execute education events for R+Co, R+Co Bleu and R+Color.
- Manage all operations for Business Excursions, from pre-planning to on-site execution and postmortem.
- Scout venues and vendors for events around the country. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships.
- Work closely with the Creative and Marketing teams for all creative asset requests and to ensure event communication aligns with overall company priorities.
- Key holder of all event information and manage communication with Sales and Leadership.
- Understand Audio/Visual needs for each event and source appreciate vendors.
- Develop programs, agendas, budgets, and services to provide white-glove customer service for in-person and online education.
- Help to plan, calendarize and execute marketing plans for all events.
- Manage booking of assistants for sponsored fashion shows + provide onsite management of fashion shows.
- Continuously research digital platforms and best practices to help keep R+Co EDU as a leader in professional education.
- Frequent weekend work and travel required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS and/or 3-5 years’ experience in a post-secondary education environment or project management role
- Self-starter with 3-5 years of proven leadership experience working with varying levels of management

- Must have a valid U.S. driver license and ability to rent a car

- Ability to travel up to 50%
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Lifting: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
- Sitting: Must be able to remain in the seated, stationary position throughout workday.
