Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.
Enterprise Data Sharing Solutions (EDSS) is part of the Enterprise Data Governance, Digital & Data Platforms (EDGP) organization, which sits within Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS). EDSS improves Amex data privacy & data sharing through the implementation of modern data sharing capabilities and strategies that enable faster speed to market while enhancing safe sharing connections.
The Digital Product Solutions Design Manager will be responsible for delivering end to end solutions across the broader Data Sharing organization. Coordinating across a multi-functional team, this role will focus on cross-team planning, stakeholder management, and issue management. The Digital Product Solutions Design Manger will design and drive well-crafted programs across multiple external and internal partner migrations and integrations, partnered significantly with our tech colleagues, governance teams, and business partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements business processes that support the effective and timely development and implementation of product improvements.
- Creates and maintains digital solutions design processes, key findings, standard methodologies, and other supporting material.
- Maintains unified product domain backlogs and roadmaps and tracks initiatives across Product teams to meet timelines and identify risks and dependencies.
- Independently applies established processes to capture, coordinate and review program information and data metrics; analyzes and synthesizes the data. Compiles data into reports or presentations.
- Contributes to development of new processes or procedures for product(s).
- Effectively communicates with internal management and cross-functional teams.
- Work within cross-functional team's expectations and ensures successful project delivery.
- May manage audit, compliance, data security and privacy, public relations, and other governance activities for product teams.
- Assist in creating and distributing internal/external communications as required.
Qualification Requirements:
- 3+ years delivering technology-driven business solutions across the enterprise or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Understanding of compliance/regulations are preferred but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail, with demonstrated proficiency in creating transparent, well-communicated, and scalable processes, while leading the implementation of those processes across a matrixed environment.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts & processes to a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience leading transformation and change and adopting a data driven approach to create effective strategies,
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, math, business, or related discipline preferred.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
