The Manager – Consolidations & External Reporting is part of the team that is responsible for the consolidation of Johnson & Johnson's financial statements on an actual and forecast basis. These financial statements are used by internal senior management and the external investment community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and Analysis of Intangible Assets
  • Calculation of Amortization Expense
  • Preparation of Annual Goodwill Impairment Test
  • Ownership of Related Party Testing
  • Ownership of EPS Calculation
  • Preparation and analysis of Segment P&L’s
  • Preparation and analysis of Competitor P&L’s
  • Sarbanes-Oxley Coordination
  • Analysis of several key Income Statement and Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Direct Supervision of Senior Financial Analyst responsible for P&L Consolidation and Balance Sheet Analytics
  • Active engagement in preparation of notes for the 10Q and 10K filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
  • Involved in many other high visibility ad hoc projects with frequent interaction with Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years finance or related business experience is required.
  • Candidate must possess excellent analytical, technical, communications and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to think creatively and a work in a team environment is required.
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to take on leadership roles on various projects is required.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries as well as public accounting is preferred
  • A CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic travel

The base pay range for this position is $97,000 - $166,750. 

 

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.  Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.  The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.  Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
